Our team has been discussing what would be a better behavior for UI, when certain areas of the application are guarded by permission system. There are two main options:

Permalink Reply by Keith Alfano on December 30, 2012 at 7:24pm If you could dynamically hide objects based on an end user's permission level, then I would suggest doing that. That would reduce visual complexity and conceptual overload on the UI. What benefits are you guys foreseeing by going the 'disable' route?
